Who is the Third Adam?

The Last Adam

Hi everyone. Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope that the writings I share bless every single one of you. I hope that they encourage and motivate you to continue seeking more. When we continue seeking more, and we ask God to teach us, we find the truth, and the truth sets us free.

John 8:31  Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
John 8:32  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Today, I am going to write about The Third Adam. You may be thinking to yourself: “Who is this third Adam?”. So today, I will try and explain who the third Adam is. I ask that once you start reading this, you please read it to the end.

After the resurrection, the first people that Jesus Christ appeared to did not recognize who he was. Why would they not recognize him? It was not until he revealed himself to them that they knew who he was. Fast forward to today, people are waiting for Christ to return, but will they be able to recognize him? Once you begin to understand who the third Adam is, you will be able to see Christ’s return; you will recognize it.

Let’s begin

When we first start reading the scriptures, we are taught to look at these events as historical events from the past. We read the scriptures as a history book, and we try to learn from the experiences that these people in scripture went through. But as we continue to study, we begin to see many similarities between these stories. We start to see that each story shares the same overall spiritual lesson. Overcoming and becoming a new person(a better person). We begin to understand that the scriptures have a deeper spiritual teaching that goes beyond the face value of the letter.

In Parables

In the scriptures, when Jesus taught, he would only speak to the public in parables. What is a parable? According to the Oxford dictionary, it is “a simple story used to illustrate a moral or spiritual lesson.”  No one understood him, not even his own disciples. But after the public would leave, his disciples would turn to him and ask him for the meaning behind the parables. When they would ask, he would reveal to them the deeper meaning; he would explain it clearly to them.

Mark 4:10  And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.
Mark 4:11  And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables
Mark 4:12  That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.
Mark 4:13  And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?

Jesus said, “but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables.” What does this mean? Some people believe that he was only referring to the parables he spoke. I used to believe this, as well. But as I continued studying, I believe the LORD began to reveal how all these stories are connected. All these stories have a deeper spiritual teaching behind them, a parable behind the letter of the word(“All these things are done in parables”). We are also told in 2 Cor 3:6 that its the spirit that gives life and not the letter because the letter killeth. What does this mean? It means that it is the spirit of the story that gives life, the parable behind the letter.

2Co 3:6  Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

The Third Adam

Now when looking at the word of God, we see many stories about a firstborn, second-born, and a third-born. When we look at the book of Genesis, we see that Adam and Eve had three sons: Cain, Abel, and Seth. Cain was the firstborn, and he was a tiller of the ground. Then there was Abel, who was a shepherd. Cain, who represents the carnal man, kills the secondborn(the one favored by God). To save the bloodline, God gives Adam and Eve a third son named Seth. The name Seth means “compensation.” According to the Oxford dictionary, compensation means “something, typically money, awarded to someone as a recompense for loss, injury, or suffering.” If we look further in Genesis, Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japeth. Even further down, we see three important generations: Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (symbolic of the three sons). If we look at Isaac’s story, we see that he had two sons, Esau and Jacob. But Jacob gets his name changed to Israel after he overcomes. So Israel is symbolic of the third son (Esau, Jacob, and Israel).

We also see many stories about the number three and about three days. When Moses was commanded to build the tabernacle of God, it was built to have three sections. The outer court, the Holy court, and the Holy of Holies. There are also the stories of King Saul, King David, and King Solomon. The stories of these three kings are very important because they also represent the three sons. They symbolically represent the three days.

There is the story of Jonah, who went into the belly of the fish for three days. There is the story of Esther fasting for three days and three nights. The story of Peter denying Christ three times. The story of when the Pharaoh refused to let the Children of Israel go. This resulted in Moses lifting his hand and three days of darkness falling upon all of Egypt(but the Children of Israel still had light in their dwellings).

When Moses was sent by God to speak to Pharaoh, Moses told the Pharaoh, “Let us go on a THREE-day Journey into the wilderness so that we can sacrifice to the Lord our God.” This three-day journey is sharing a spiritual lesson seen in the other stories about the three days and the three sons.

Exo 8:27  We will go three days’ journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to the LORD our God, as he shall command us.

All of these stories are connected to each other; all of these stories teach the same spiritual lesson. These three days are a journey. These three days are our chapters in life.

When Jesus was put on the cross, there were two other people next to him. One on each side. There was a total of three crosses. The thief on the left said to Jesus: “If thou be Christ, save thyself and us(Luke 23:39). Then the thief on the right rebukes the thief on the left and says, “Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss(Luke 23:40-41). He turns to Jesus and tells him: “Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom” (Luke 23:42). Jesus then responds and tells him: Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:43). This event on the cross is also a picture of the three sons and the three days. The thief on the left symbolizes the firstborn, the carnal man. Jesus is symbolic of the secondborn, the door that leads to the Father. And the thief on the right is symbolic of Christ rising from the dead. You might be asking yourself, “what did he just say?”

When Jesus spoke to the people, those that believed in what he was teaching were transformed; they were made new. When Jesus was killed on the cross, he was teaching us a deeper spiritual teaching. Jesus, who was the second son, was killed by the first son. He was killed by the carnal man, the one who does not understand the truth, which is a picture of Cain killing Abel. It is also a picture of the Temple of Solomon (The Second Temple, the first temple is the Tabernacle of Moses) being destroyed by the carnal man. He overcame and rose again on the third day when Christ was put to death. His resurrection symbolizes God, giving Adam and Eve their third son Seth. Christ rising from the dead is also symbolic of Jacob overcoming (when he wrestled with the angel of the Lord) and getting his name changed to Israel. Another example can be seen in the story of Paul when his sight is given back to him. After being blinded for three days (On the road to Damascus).

John 2:19  Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

John 20:9  For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.

When we hear about Christ rising from the dead, we often do not see past the face value of the text—not recognizing the deeper lesson being taught. The Greek word for the word dead that is used in the scriptures is “νεκρων,” and it is pronounced, “Nekron.” This word is a plural version of the word “Nekros.” The word Nekros means “perished or dead body.” So when scripture says that he must rise again from the dead, it is actually saying that he must rise from many who were once dead. (This is something that Jacob Israel found during his studies. Check out his youtube page for other great insights)

Col 2:13  And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

All of these stories in the scriptures are all sharing the story of overcoming through Christ (because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world[1John4:4]). It is the story of the Third Adam. So who is this third Adam?

The first Adam is all of us before accepting Christ. The first Adam is us when we were still part of this world (the first son, the first day). When we were still struggling with: our ego, our fears, our doubts, our lust. The second Adam is the Lord from Heaven, Jesus Christ, because he is the door that leads to the Father.

1Co 15:47  The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven

John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The third Adam (the last Adam) is when Christ rises again but within us on the third day (the third chapter in our lives). It is when Jesus turns to look at us and tells us: Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.” The third day is when Joseph and Mary find Christ in the temple (after not realizing he was missing). Jesus tells them: “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?(Luke 2:49)

1Co 15:45  And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

The reason his disciples (that he first appeared to) were not able to recognize him after the resurrection. Was because they were looking for him in the flesh. When Jesus resurrected, he first appeared to Mary Magdalene. Mary is symbolic of all of us believers who do not fully understand yet.

John 20:11  But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,

Mary stood without at the sepulchre? Without what? Without fully understanding. Mary is symbolic of the second son. She has two siblings. Her first sibling was her older sister Martha, who is symbolic of the first day (symbolic of the first son). Mary is symbolic of the second day (the second son). She was at the sepulchre weeping, and she stooped down and looked into the sepulchre. When she did this, it was symbolic of her humbling herself and looking for the Lord.

John 20:15  Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.

When the Lord revealed himself to her, She was awoken to the truth, and she enters the third day. She becomes the third son. When Christ rose Lazarus (her younger brother, the third son) from the dead, it was a picture of Mary being awoken to the truth. It was Mary becoming a son of God, the third son, the Third Adam.

When Christ rises from the dead, the dead he rises from is us. Christ rises in you. Why? Because we are the body of Christ. We are the temple of God. The hope of glory is Christ in you.

1Co 12:27  Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

1Co 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

John 1:14  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

The word became flesh, and we beheld his glory? What is his glory?

Col 1:27  To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

The Third Adam, is the Third you!

This is what I believe, and you may disagree, and that is ok. The truth is we should never put all our faith in what others teach us because they can unintentionally mislead us. We should always ask God to teach us because when we do, he reveals his truth to us, and if he is the one teaching us, we will never be misled.

I hope what I shared blesses you. I love all of you. Have a beautiful blessed day.

Deu 4:29  But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

Pro 8:17  I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

Jer 29:13  And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Mat 7:8  For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

If this essay blessed you, please feel free to share it with others so that they can be blessed as well.

Also, feel free to check out my essay on the Two Witnesses.

God bless you all always!!!

I’m so confused. Adam was the first human. There’s no second or third.

    • Fabian Posadas January 6, 2022 at 4:57 pm

I am sorry; I know what I share can sometimes be difficult to see. And I know, of course, that what I share could be wrong, but I believe it to be true. I believe the scriptures teach a deeper lesson than what we see at face value of the text. So when I read the scriptures, I look at them as parables or allegories. I try not to focus on the literal meaning. There are several scriptures that point us towards looking past the literal(towards the spirit). So when I say the third Adam, I am actually talking about the third version of you. I believe in our lives; we walk a three-day (three-versions) journey in the wilderness(life) towards finding Christ. The first version is the one that does not know of God, the second version is the one looking for God, and the third version(the last Adam) is the one who finds God.

To understand how I read scriptures, I recommend taking a look at my essay “the kingdom of God is within you” https://www.thethirdadam.com/the-kingdom-of-god-within-you/
and “It is the spirit that gives life.”
      https://www.thethirdadam.com/it-is-the-spirit-that-gives-life/

I hope this helps. Blessings to you.

Then how do you know that those verses aren’t figurative to some different meaning opposed to the text?

      • Russ July 6, 2024 at 1:15 pm

There absolutely is a deeper lesson being taught. It’s the entire basis of gnosticism. To know the truth. The whole truth. People like to demean the gnostic gospels and the other texts in the Nag Hamadi Library as “Not being divinely inspired” and even “heretical”, but the truth is that those gospels were actually written in the 1st century. They were written while Jesus was alive, or very shortly after he died. These gospels in the canonical Bible weren’t written until the 3rd and 4th centuries. The only reason those books were banned was because the Christian sects with the most clout (meaning the most followers, and with them the most resources). And those were men who didn’t want the “rest of the story” to be heard because it’s easier to control people who follow blindly than those who instinctively know there is a greater truth and are willing to persevere to find it. So those gospels were marginalized, maligned and eventually just destroyed (except for the Nag Hamadi Library), because if all evidence of a deeper truth is obliterated, then you’ve effectively solved the problem of people looking for deeper meaning. But it doesn’t matter what some ecunenical council decided before the dark ages, we can judge for ourselves what is truth and what is fiction when we read that scripture ourselves. And in those gospels the deeper truths aren’t nearly as well hidden. And math does play a pretty huge role, especially the number 3. Not just Christianity but every religion that is ever known to have existed holds/held the number 3 sacred. There’s a very good reason for that. Excellent essay BTW. It was inspired. Very well done.

You missed the whole point of the essay. You’re looking for the truth in the parable of Adam & Eve and their children. But that’s just a parable. It’s a story meant to teach a moral, like a fable only not as literary. That’s what the casual reader of scripture sees. It’s all they see. The whole point of the essay was that the truth lies behind the parable. But you have to seek it and want to find it with all your heart. But I think that means the whole truth, but this one is easy so I’ll just tell you…. Adam means “man”. And don’t forget that Adam himself was not born. He was made of clay and had the breath of life breathed into his nostrils. He was called Adam (man) because all who came after him would be man (Adam). Adam (man) had 3 sons. The first 3 humans to be born via natural biological processes. They were all adams (men). Adam himself (meaning the character in the story) was the first man, but he wasn’t altogether human. His 3 sons were the first humans. I hope this helped to clear it up. This stuff is sort of like the religious equivalent of those trick paintings at the mall where you’d have to stare at the pattern for 20 minutes and unfocus your eyes to see the sailboat. Lol

I did follow this and need to look at all the passages again but the only thing that stuck out right away was John 20:1-18 In this passage it is Mary Magdalene not Mary Lazarus & Martha’s sister. God bless you brother.

    • Fabian Posadas January 27, 2022 at 10:40 pm

Thank you for commenting, I will indeed take a look at John chapter 20.
      God bless you always.

    • Russ July 6, 2024 at 1:24 pm

That’s another 3. There were 3 Marys, not counting his mother or Mary Lazarus (I didn’t even know that was her first name, so thank you), Jesus had 3 female followers who were as close to Him, if not closer, than even the 12 apostles. These women were actually taught things that Jesus didn’t even teach to the apostles. The had to find out from the 3 Marys. Everyone knows knows about Mary Magdalene, and she definitely probably knew more than anyone, but then there was also Mary Salome and Mary Jacobi (sorry, no time to spellcheck those names).

  • Matthew Butler February 6, 2022 at 1:37 pm

Mary standing without at the sepulchre is simply old fashioned language to indicate she was standing outside it, as in the opposite of within.

    • Fabian Posadas February 28, 2022 at 4:35 pm

Thank you Matthew for your comment. Your comment got me thinking, if she is outside the sepulchre (a place where dead bodies are laid to rest) it could mean that she (she is us) was still holding on to her old understanding, and that would be the reason why she didn’t recognize Jesus. We have to put our old beliefs to death (die to ourselves), but she had not. But when she cried out and kneeled, it would be symbolic of humbling and letting go. Thanks again for your comment. Have a great day, God bless.

Well done, Fabian! You are indeed seeing further.
Thank you for this discourse as it will hopefully advance those seekers and searchers alike! Bless you!

When your eyes become single your body will be full of Light! AKA activation/ascension/kundalini awakening/*catching the holy Ghost/spirit”.. this phenomenon is not isolated. We are all storytellers, and we are telling the greatest story ever told and we are each authoring it with our own hearts! Yet nothing can really be isolated from anything else, can it? and the best stories have great conflict! ❤️🙏 and that is the Truth that A person has the opportunity to awaken to.. that Jesus and other ascended masters have alluded to and hinted at.. and it can be quite a reckoning: it’s all One. That’s how it only ever made sense to treat you how I might like to be treated.. ❤️😀 We are each other! So we must learn to celebrate our “differences” in values.. because they are all polarized rather than conflicting! At the very least be able to identify them.. to clarify our values.. and increase our emotional intelligence to achieve this cycle of spiritual evolution that has been preached.
This life is a reflection of concepts manifested epistemologically of our minds.. That is how the best things in life are invisible! Through our tribulations we discover the immaterial is more important than the material. and they are one and the same! Our burdens are our blessings.. The same things you think are holding you down are actually holding you up! That’s why Jesus said there will be suffering! Yet suffering is Latin for “passion”.. We will bring ourselves to what we are passionate about and hence invite the suffering.. the trauma.. which is the Greek word for “wound”. Remi understood that “The wound is where the Light enters.” This explains the Beatitudes and how such individuals are destined to inherit the Kingdom. After all, those who exalt themselves will be humbled and those who humble themselves will be exalted!
It has to do with ascended levels and dimensions of consciousness! Explore for yourselves and to thine own self be true!

Fabian, again I’m rather impressed. We’re never done learning! it’s infinite divisibility so let us return to the kingdom as children again! That’s coming from the world’s greatest teacher 😉 ❤️❤️ -a Third Adam 🙏🙏⚡⚡ YOU’RE AN ETERNAL BEING OF LOVE AND LIGHT AND HOPE! WHOEVER IS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO BE WITH US.. UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE A LIGHT OF THE WORLD! AND WE DO NOT PUT A LIGHT UNDER THE TABLE WE PUT IT HIGH UPON THE MANTLE SO IT LIGHTS THE WHOLE ROOM! DARE TO BE YOUR GOOFY AUTHENTIC SELF! IF WE LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES HOW COME WE’RE ALWAYS SO AFRAID TO MAKE ONE?! IT TAKES COURAGE TO LEAD WITH LOVE AND TRUST! HONOR EACH OTHER’S PAIN! CHERISH THESE COMPLEX AND BEAUTIFUL TIMES! GRATITUDE IS AN INFINITE ENERGY POOL! LEAD WITH LOVE ALWAYS! LOVE EVERYBODY! TELL THE TRUTH! CELEBRATE THIS EVOLUTION OF CONSCIOUSNESS! MUSIC WILL HEAL THIS WORLD… SO LISTEN WITH YOUR MIND AS WELL AS YOUR EARS.. ANYONE WITH A MIND WHO IS EXALTED PLEASE LET YOURSELF UNDERSTAND! ❤️🙏⚡🌠💗

Thank you, Jack, Your words blessed me greatly. I read your comment more than once because it really touched my heart.
“We are all storytellers, and we are telling the greatest story ever told and we are each authoring it with our own hearts!” -Absolutely agreed.

Have a great day, and God bless you always.

  • Olukayode March 22, 2022 at 3:41 am

Flesh and blood hath not revealed this unto you…I am truly blessed. Received a charge about four years ago…I AM THE THIRD ADAM, BORN OF THE FLESH, BORN OF SIN, BORN DEAD, BUT NOW ALIVE. ALIVE IN CHRIST, ALIVE IN THE BLOOD, ALIVE IN THE LOVE MANIFEST ON THE CROSS. I AM THE THIRD ADAM….

  • Suzette Ellis August 5, 2022 at 2:22 pm

Fabian thank you so much for such beautiful words. The Lord told me 30 years ago that Seth was Christ and I have wondered for 30 years how that was possible. You just opened up a very large door for me. Thank you, Thank you, thank you!!!

Thank you Suzette; your words blessed me tremendously. It blesses my heart to hear that what I shared has blessed you. It truly is a double edge sword.

It’s a fine idea but in order for it to be true it must hold continuity through the Bible. This does not. In fact, the first chapter kills this theory you’ve conjured.
Adam, who had the breath of life had a bride inside of him, and she was taken out. A different body but no different spirit.
This and every scripture types Jesus and the bride.
I’d be glad to share every type there is in scripture if you don’t see this.
Jesus is the 2nd Adam and his bride is the 2nd Eve.

    • Fabian Posadas January 14, 2023 at 3:31 pm

Hi Nicholas, thank you for reading my essay and for your comment.

I believe it does hold continuity throughout the Bible. Everything in the scripture points to a three-day journey(not literal days, but chapters in life), the journey we take to find Christ in his Temple. It is hard to recognize this three-day journey because we have to get past the second day (the hardest one to overcome). We must become Abraham(symbolic of the first day) and open to offering Issac (our first son/representing our first belief/literal understandings/ Issac is the second day). We must become like Jacob and wrestle with the Angel of the LORD (the message of the LORD). We have to put on the cross (the belief in an external God/and the literal understanding/the second day) in Golgatha, which is the place of the skull (your mind/your beliefs). When we overcome, we enter the third day, and you find Christ in the Temple (you are the Temple). He then tells you, “Didn’t you know I would be in my Father’s house?” When you enter the third day, you become the one who is on the third cross. And Jesus, on the second cross (the second day), turns his head and tells you, “Today you will be with me in paradise.”
We struggle to see this because we look at the scripture’s literal interpretation and not the spiritual. I believe Adam and Eve were/are both the same person, and they are you. When the scripture says that “the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs,” if you look up the definition of the Hebrew word rib it is defined as “a side literally (of a person) or figuratively” -Strongs H6760
Adam then goes on to say, “she shall be called woman because she was taken out of man.” Adam and the woman represent two sides of the same person. One is the Spiritual side (the higher understanding), and the other is the Carnal side (the lower understanding). Take a look at one of my earlier essays where I explain the meaning of “Male and Female Created He Them.” Also, check out my essay on the “Two Witnesses”, where I explain why we fail to recognize the lessons behind the scriptures.
The first Adam is the first version of you (the one who didn’t know God), The second Adam is the second version (the one who was looking for God outside his temple), the Third Adam is the final version of you (the one who found God, in his Temple, Christ in you).

“1Co 15:45  And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.”

Thank you again, and God Bless you always.
    • James November 2, 2023 at 4:10 pm

Hi I’m bothered by the term the 3rd Adam also. God says not to add non take away from His word so as KJV Bible. 1 Corinthians 15:45
[45]And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Last means last. No third Adam. We must stick with God’s Word and not listen to those who twist the scriptures.

  • Byron February 24, 2023 at 3:38 pm

I can read scripturs that speak of the First Adam and the Second Adam, but where is the scripture that speaks of a Third Adam, and specifically that some antichrist is this third Adam? I’ll wait.

    • Fabian Posadas March 11, 2023 at 4:21 pm

      Hi Byron,

Thank you for posting your comment/question.

The scriptures do not specifically mention a “third Adam.” When I say that the scriptures talk about a third Adam, I am saying that there is a lesson hidden within the scriptures about the journey of man; a three-day journey. This man is you, independent from any other man. The story is about you. The story is also about everyone else, including myself, but independent from each other. When I say independent from each other, I am saying that the stories in the scripture are only talking about you (the one reading the scriptures and no one else.)

This three-day journey is mentioned and repeated throughout the scriptures. The first day (first Adam) is the first version of you, the one who does not know that God exists. The second day (second Adam) is the one who is now seeking God (seeking for an external God), looking for him amongst other people in religion, in churches, in youtube, etc. (places where God is not found). The third day (the third Adam) is when the second version of you overcomes the battle with the second day, overcoming the battle with the idea that God is external (God is not external) and separate from you. The third day is when Christ is found in the temple (1 Cor3:16 you are the temple of God). That battle is the same battle that Jacob wrestled with; Jacob is you.

Now regarding the last part of your question: “…specifically that some antichrist is this third Adam?”

The Antichrist is not the third Adam. The third Adam is the Christ in you.
The Antichrist is a spirit. To understand who the Antichrist is, we first have to understand what the word spirit means. A spirit is not a supernatural being like those shown in movies.

In Hebrew the word spirit is spelled “רוּח” and it is pronounced Ruach (roo’-akh) The word ruach in Hebrew has four different meanings. According to the Brown-Driver-Briggs Dictionary (Strongs #H7307) those four meanings are: wind, breath, mind, and spirit. This means that the word spirit can have more than one meaning.

The word spirit refers to a way of thinking and understanding that is created in our mind. A spirit is an idea / thought developed in our minds, and that drives our decisions.

So now who is the Antichrist? According to 1 John 4:3 Any spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is in the flesh. This is talking about any idea or message (within your mind) that says that Jesus Christ does not come within you. Why do I say this? Because the scriptures say that you are the body of Christ and that you are the temple of God.

1Co 12:27  Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
1Co 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

I know what I shared might sound different, and it’s okay to disagree. But when I began to see the scriptures from the perspective that everything is taking place within me (and not outside), the stories became alive more than ever, and I can see every story unfolding within my life.

The scriptures are true, and they are taking place within you.

Thank you again, and be always blessed.

    Fabian,
When you quoted John 20:11 But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulcher.

Then your response: Mary stood without at the sepulchre? Without what? Without fully understanding.

In the KJV, without is from Hebrew Strongs 1854, exó
    Original Word: ἔξω
    Definition: outside, without.
    Usage: without, outside.

This indicates to me she was just standing outside the sepulcher, not going inside, not that she was needing anything because she was “without” something.

    • Fabian Posadas August 13, 2023 at 4:06 pm

Thank you, Terry, for sharing; you are right; the word “without” means “outside.” Let’s take a look at this further.

Why outside? I know our minds will always try to look at the literal interpretation (at the letter). I know my mind always goes there. But if we let our minds keep us at the letter, we will not recognize the spiritual meaning.

2Co 3:6  Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Being outside has a huge meaning. Jesus said, “Unto you, it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables.”

Meaning unto them that are “outside” all these things are done parables. That seeing they may see (the letter), and not perceive (not see the spirit), hearing they will hear (the letter) and not understand (not understand the spirit).

Outside is where we are all; when are we looking for God outside of the temple when we are waiting for Christ to return outside his body?
We are told in scripture that we are the body of Christ; we are also told that we are the temple of God and that spirit of God dwells within us.

Col 1:27  To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Mary being outside is symbolic of all of us on the second day; when we are looking for Christ outside of his temple, we are waiting for him to arrive separately from us. But Jesus said, “In that day you will know that he is in the Father, and you in him, and he in you.”

Joh 14:20  At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

Joh 17:21  That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

When Jesus was 12, Joesph and Mary went a whole day and did not realize that Jesus was missing; on the second day, they went looking for him among the children of Israel (their brethren), meaning they were looking “outside” of the temple. It was not until the third day, when they decided to look in the temple, that they found him. And Jesus says to them, “Didn’t you know that I would be in my Father’s house?”

This was something that I battled with internally to accept when I saw it, but his Father’s house is you? (We all are).

1Co 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
1Co 12:27  Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

In the scripture, Mary represents the second day, when we are still looking towards the outside, but when she “Stooped down,” that was symbolic of her humbling herself and accepting and looking within herself.

When you look within, that is when Christ is found, the hope of glory is Christ in you.

I hope this helps; please feel free to ask any questions or thoughts you may have. I am also still learning, and I might not have all the answers, but I will try to share what I know, and maybe we can assist each other in finding the answers to those things we still don’t understand.

      God bless you always,

      Fabian

Fabian, I think you’ve gone far too far into the allegory and ‘read behind the text’ categories. Although I agree that there are certain things that are representations of another in Scripture (Joseph pointing to Christ, Israel being those who ‘wrestle with God’, etc.), there is then a danger to read into other passages things that aren’t there.

Your usage of the 3 sons, particularly in reference to Jacob. In light of Romans, one can conclude that there are 2 sons here, one of which has been renamed and given a new ‘mission’ for lack of a better term. Yet you’ve listed Jacob and Israel as 2 separate ‘sons’ in order to fit your thoughts, why?

Your use of parables, I’m wondering perhaps if you could explain in light of your thoughts why Christ didn’t teach on the Third Adam in ‘The Prodigal Son’? There are 2 sons in the text, and there are 2 sons at the end of the text, surely this would have been the perfect place to teach on this “Third Adam”? In particular, Luke 15:24, “dead and is alive again”, I.e. 2 states for a person, not 3.

What I think has happened is that by hyper-allegorising these texts, you’ve accidentally jumped into the realm of New-Age ‘You are God and God is you’ style thinking. We see in scripture that in your life there are in fact 2 stages: dead in sin, and (should you believe in Christ) alive in Him. There is no inbetween stage. Likewise Jesus is the 2nd Adam, and the last, since all is fulfilled in Him. We join in His resurrection.

Could you perhaps explain more fully this idea you’ve come to that when Jesus Rose from the dead, He in fact rose from us? Exact: “When Christ rises from the dead, the dead he rises from is us. Christ rises in you. Why? Because we are the body of Christ”. Maybe you could clarify this, it sounds like you’re saying that “Christ” is within all of us just waiting to be “risen”?

    Kind Regards and Blessings

Thank you, Adam, for reading my essay and for your comment. I appreciate your input.

I know that the things I share sometimes are perceived as far-reaching, and maybe they are; perhaps I am wrong, but for me personally, these things that I believe are revealed in scripture have changed who I am (for the better). They have changed my outlook in life and how I perceive and interact with the world we live in.

Thank you again, I will try and answer your questions as best as I can:

“Your usage of the 3 sons, particularly in reference to Jacob. In light of Romans, one can conclude that there are 2 sons here, one of which has been renamed and given a new ‘mission’ for lack of a better term. Yet you’ve listed Jacob and Israel as 2 separate ‘sons’ in order to fit your thoughts, why?”

I believe everything in the scriptures reveals hidden spiritual lessons, and the biggest one is about the three-day journey we take to find Christ.

Exo 8:27  We will go three days’ journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to the LORD our God, as he shall command us.

And this journey, as I explained in my essay, is revealed throughout the scriptures and hidden, waiting for us to find. Now, when I point out that Jacob and Israel represent two different sons, I don’t mean literally two different people. I believe Jacob and Israel are the same person, but it is important to note that Esau is also that same person.

You see, they represent you (also me and everyone else). The three sons represent chapters in that three-day journey. Like three different versions or mindsets of the same person. It’s like this: Esau, the carnal man (the first Adam), is who we once were—the negative version of ourselves who focuses on the external world. But one day, we had an event that changed our lives and direction, so we began to seek God, and we became Jacob (the second Adam). As Jacob, we are now looking for God in churches, among other believers, etc. But when we become Jacob, we have struggles, are fearful, and believe that God lives in a place far away in the clouds outside our reach. But then we have another event in our lives, the biggest one we will experience; we begin to see in the scriptures that God is found within his Temple (1 Cor3:16), and we begin to battle with the Idea of the external God. We are left alone to wrestle with this belief (Gen 32:24). In the end, the idea of the external God is put to death, the sacrifice is made, and we become Israel (the third Adam, the last Adam). That sacrifice that battle happens in our minds, in Golgatha (the place of the skull). When we become Israel, Jesus turns to us and tells us, “Today, you will be with me in paradise.” As the third Adam we no longer are focused on the external, but rather on the internal. The Christ within.

“Your use of parables, I’m wondering perhaps if you could explain in light of your thoughts why Christ didn’t teach on the Third Adam in ‘The Prodigal Son’? There are 2 sons in the text, and there are 2 sons at the end of the text, surely this would have been the perfect place to teach on this “Third Adam”? In particular, Luke 15:24, “dead and is alive again”, I.e. 2 states for a person, not 3.”

Yes, the parable of the prodigal son is a story about two sons. But this story is not only about the two sons but also about the Father. The three-day journey is also seen in this story: The Father (day 1), the First Son (day 2), and the Second Son (day 3). The Father and his sons represent the same person. The first son represents the first belief. The version of himself that believes in the external God and follows the literal interpretation of the scriptures. The younger son represents the version of himself that begins to question his literal beliefs and begins looking beyond what he knows. But he finds himself in a famine (finding no truth) feeding the swine, so he decides to return to his Father, where he knows there is truth to spare. So that is why he was once dead (not literally, but spiritually), but now he is alive.

“What I think has happened is that by hyper-allegorising these texts, you’ve accidentally jumped into the realm of New-Age’ You are God and God is you’ style thinking. We see in scripture that in your life there are in fact 2 stages: dead in sin, and (should you believe in Christ) alive in Him. There is no inbetween stage. Likewise Jesus is the 2nd Adam, and the last, since all is fulfilled in Him. We join in His resurrection.”

I know that what I share is difficult sometimes to see because we are sensual beings and associate everything with our external physical world. I am working on a new essay that I plan to post here, but I will share a preview link to my working draft explaining why everything in scripture is about something spiritual happening within you. If you have a chance, please give it a read and let me know what you think.

“Could you perhaps explain more fully this idea you’ve come to that when Jesus Rose from the dead, He in fact rose from us? Exact: “When Christ rises from the dead, the dead he rises from is us. Christ rises in you. Why? Because we are the body of Christ”. Maybe you could clarify this, it sounds like you’re saying that “Christ” is within all of us just waiting to be “risen”?”

It is like this: I believe God lives within you and is the same God that lives within me and everyone else. There is one God in all and through all.

Eph 4:6  One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all

So when Christ rises, it means he is rising within you. Because as scripture says “ye are the body of Christ.” Everyone is the body. We have a hard time seeing this because of the spirit of antichrist. Anti meaning: against and Christ meaning “anointing.”

1Jn 4:3  And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
The scripture above is basically telling us every spirit (belief, thought, or idea) that confesseth not the Jesus Christ is come in the flesh (ye are his body) is not of God, this is that spirit of antichrist (against the anointing in you) whereof ye have heard that it should come, and even now already is it in the world.

I do believe that God is in everyone, in all and through all.
A good analogy for this: Imagine that God decided to write a movie, and he decided to cast himself in the leading role. That role he is playing is you, the story of your life. But he also decided to cast himself in every supporting role, basically everyone around you. The journey is about finding out who you truly are.

Christ, which means the anointing, is given to everyone. When Cain was marked at the beginning, that marking was him being anointed. This is the same thing that happens in the story of Saul when he is chosen by God to be the first king of Israel (the first day, the first Adam). King David, who represents the second version of our journey (the second day, the second Adam), David is told he would not build the Temple but that his son would be the one to build the Temple. King Solomon is the third king ( the third day).

I know that many have a hard time seeing this. And yes, of course, I know I could be all wrong, but I believe it to be true. Because of so many things that I believe God has done in my life to get me to where I am. Now, I don’t believe that I am the only one seeing this. I believe God reveals this to us all, but sometimes we don’t recognize it, but in the end, we all will.

I hope what I shared makes sense, and that it blesses you as much as it has blessed me. Thank you again for your input, and please let me know if you have further questions.

    Blessing to you always,

    Fabian.

    Third Adam is Antichrist.

1st Adam failed the test, every human coming from his line gets sinful nature, cant pass the test on his own.
2nd Adam God coming into the world passing the test (Jesus), he has no father out of adams line. Anyone can see himself, his old creature dead and new creature risen in Christ=baptism
3rd Adam is Satan coming into the world as fake messias, getting equal time as Jesus to convince and decieve the world as “god”.

    Completely false.

      Hi Maretta,

Its ok to disagree, I know what I share is sometimes difficult to see.

      Blessings

Fabian, with all due respect, it seems evident that you believe what you believe – [proverbial] case closed. Many of us have reached out to you, explaining why we disagree with your article. In response, several times you say that you understand that what you say may be difficult to see. You say it’s “okay to disagree”, and “I could be wrong, BUT…”
Dear Fabian, may the gracious LORD be your go-to [we are to try every spirit to see if it is of God – He does not want us to be deceived], when this many of us are trying to warn you, out of love and concern for your soul, that what you are sharing does indeed seem to border New Age or “New Thought”, perhaps even gnosticism [spelling?]

It seems that a firm, yet gentle approach was the response of this group of readers – respectful, yet concerned. Same here, Fabian. Today it seems that so many have discovered some ‘hidden’ nugget that they want to share, a ‘new’ revelation, a ‘new’ discovery, a ‘new’ and deeper understanding.

The Lord did not create me as an Einstein or a Hawking [Stephen]. I am a simple [uncomplicated] elderly woman. Nevertheless, I am sincere in gratitude to the Lord that I am not alone in my simplicity. Our Creator is a good, good God, whose desire is that none should perish but that all should come to repentance. [2Pet 3:9] The Lord is not hiding everything, keeping a hidden mystery tucked away into every scripture. It is so simple a child understand it.
Time is so short before our Lord’s return, and before great tribulation begins. Deception is so rampant – I think the people who reached out to you have the love of God spilling over in them, and I applaud their candor, their [healthy] fear of the Lord, their desire to snatch any away from the mouths of the lions (only God can shut their mouths[6 and their love for Jesus /Yeshua, and brethren. He is exalted on high. Shalom in Christ

    The Third Adam

The Third Adam is a metaphor for the three-day journey we travel in our lives in our quest for the truth. In scripture, we are told that it is the spirit that gives life and not the letter; this means that there are more profound hidden lessons than what we see at face value. In this blog, I hope to share those hidden lessons that I believe God reveals to us all when we begin to seek more and when we begin to question the things we once thought to be true. The Third Adam is symbolic of the third day when Christ is found in the temple, and he says to you, "Did you not know that I would be in my Father's House?" Read more
